Terms of use

The agreement between you and Tradar when you use the app, the website or Tara.

Last updated 31 Oct 2026

The short version

  • Tradar measures how you trade. It never places a trade for you, and nothing in it is investment advice.
  • You must be 18 or older, and connect only broker accounts in your own name.
  • Forge costs ₹2,499 a month and renews by itself until you cancel. Cancel any time; it stays on until the end of the month you paid for.
  • Embers are rewards, not money. Their only use is coming off your Forge bill.
  • Indian law applies to this agreement, and the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat hear disputes.

This summary helps you read the terms of use; it does not replace it.

1Who we are and what this is

Tradar is an app at tradar.in for understanding and improving how you trade. It is run by Meet Bhalodiya, the founder. In these terms “Tradar”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Meet Bhalodiya and anyone who takes over the running of Tradar later. “You” means the person using it.

These terms and our privacy policy together make up the agreement between you and us. It is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and needs no signature.

By signing in to Tradar, or by using any part of it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Tradar.

2Who can use Tradar

  • You are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Tradar is not for children.
  • Every broker or exchange account you connect is in your own name, or you are legally allowed to act for it.
  • No law stops you from using Tradar, and we have not closed an account of yours before for breaking these terms.
  • One account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in with anyone.

3Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep that email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in to Tradar as you. You are responsible for what happens on your account, and you agree to tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Give us true details about yourself, and keep them up to date.

4What Tradar is, and what it is not

Tradar reads the trades your broker reports, checks them against the rules you set, and shows you a behaviour score, what you kept and broke, a journal, streaks and a coach called Tara. It is a tool for looking at your own behaviour.

Tradar is not a broker, an exchange, an investment adviser, a research analyst, a portfolio manager or a tax adviser, and is not registered with SEBI, the RBI or any other regulator as one. Nothing in Tradar - a score, a finding, a rule suggestion, a blog post or anything Tara says - is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, derivative, commodity or crypto asset, or a prediction of any price.

  • Tradar never places, changes or cancels an order. It only ever asks your broker for read access.
  • Scores, findings and P&L figures are worked out from what your broker sends us. That data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and our calculations of charges and fees can differ from your broker’s. Your broker’s own statements are the record for tax, margin and every legal purpose.
  • Trading - especially in derivatives, with leverage, or in crypto assets - carries a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you put in. Crypto assets (virtual digital assets) are not legal tender in India and are not regulated as securities. Every trading decision is yours alone.
  • A better behaviour score does not mean you will make money. Past behaviour does not predict future results.

5Connecting a broker

  • To connect a broker you give us an API key from your broker account. Create it with read permission only. Never give us a key that can place trades or withdraw money - Tradar does not need one and never uses one.
  • Your broker’s own terms apply to its API. Following them is your responsibility, and we are not responsible for your broker’s outages, changes or mistakes in the data it sends.
  • We encrypt your key before storing it (see the privacy policy). You can disconnect at any time in Tradar, and you can also delete the key at your broker, which stops it working everywhere.
  • Trades arrive once a day, and whenever you press “Sync now”. What you see in Tradar may be behind what has happened at your broker.

6Tara

Tara is an AI language model, not a person. Her answers are written by a computer, can be wrong, and are not advice of any kind. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

  • She will not tell you what to buy or sell or predict where a price is going. A price she looks up on the web is rough, with its source and the time.
  • She is not a doctor, a counsellor, a lawyer or a tax adviser. If you are in distress, call Tele-MANAS on 14416, or 112 in an emergency.
  • She reads your own trading data only if you turn on Personalization. The privacy policy says exactly what she reads and what she never gets.
  • Each account has a daily allowance, shown in Tara’s section of Settings. Tara may also pause for everyone for the rest of a day, and is in beta: how she works may change.
  • Do not use Tara to make anything unlawful, or try to get her to break her own rules.

7Plans and payment

Tradar has two plans: Free, and Forge at ₹2,499 a month. What each includes, and the price, are shown on the Billing screen before you pay. The price includes GST where GST is charged, and you can download an invoice for every payment.

Autopay

  • Payments go through Razorpay, by UPI or card, and Razorpay’s terms apply to the payment itself. Buying Forge sets up an autopay mandate (an e-mandate) with your bank, card or UPI app, capped at the plan’s full monthly price, and your plan renews each month by itself until you cancel.
  • We raise each renewal up to 3 days before your month ends. As RBI’s rules require, you get a notice before every charge - at least 24 hours ahead - and you can cancel the mandate from your bank or UPI app at any time.
  • Cancelling the mandate at your bank does not cancel the plan in Tradar: the next renewal will simply fail. To stop paying, cancel in Billing (below).
  • If a renewal fails, we email you, and Forge stays on for 3 days so you can pay. We do not retry the charge by ourselves. If it is still unpaid after that, your account moves to Free.

Embers off the bill

While “Pay with embers” is on (Billing → Payment method), up to 500 embers come off each charge, one ember for each rupee. Turn it off and every charge is the full price.

Changes to the price

If we change the price of Forge, we will tell you by email and in the app at least 30 days before your first renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first. A price above your mandate’s cap needs your fresh approval.

Cancelling and refunds

  • Cancel any time in Billing (“Switch to Free” or “Cancel renewal”). Forge stays on until the end of the month you paid for, and nothing more is charged.
  • We do not refund a month you have started, unless something went wrong on our side - such as being charged twice, or after cancelling - or the law requires it.
  • For any problem with a payment, write to support with the invoice number (in Billing).
  • Forge is a digital service: nothing is shipped, and it switches on as soon as your payment is confirmed.

8Embers, streaks, challenges and referrals

Embers are loyalty rewards you earn by using Tradar - for setting it up, for milestones, for finishing a challenge, for inviting friends. One ember takes one rupee off a Forge bill, up to 500 a charge.

Embers are not money and have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash or anything else. They are not a wallet, a deposit, a prepaid payment instrument or a crypto asset.

  • A reward you have earned stays claimable until you claim it. We may change how many embers future actions earn; we will not take back embers you have claimed, except ones credited by mistake or gained by breaking these terms.
  • Challenges are free to start and put nothing at stake. Failing one ends the run and costs you only the reward you were working towards.
  • Your invite link is yours to share with people you know. When a friend joins on it and their broker connection goes live, you both earn a reward, and when they first pay for Forge you earn 150 embers. Inviting yourself, using fake or alias accounts, or sending your link in bulk to people who did not ask for it is not allowed and earns nothing.
  • Unclaimed and unspent embers end with your account.

9Your content

What you write in Tradar - rules, journal entries, the feelings you log, notes, your questions to Tara - is yours. You let us store, process and show it to you only to run Tradar for you, including showing it to Tara when Personalization is on. That permission ends when you delete it or your account, apart from what the law makes us keep.

If you rate one of Tara’s answers or send us feedback, we may use it to improve Tradar without owing you anything for it. When you share a card from Tradar, you choose to make what is on it public.

10Using Tradar fairly

You agree not to:

  • break any law, or use Tradar for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
  • connect an account that is not yours, or try to reach anyone else’s account or data;
  • copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell Tradar, or get around its rate limits, security or plans;
  • attack, overload or probe Tradar, or upload anything harmful such as malware;
  • create accounts by automated means, or abuse invite links, embers or rewards;
  • use Tradar or anything it produces to give paid tips or investment advice to other people, or present it as advice;
  • post or send anything through Tradar that belongs to someone else, is obscene, harms a child, infringes intellectual property, deceives or impersonates anyone, or is otherwise barred by Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Found a security problem? Tell us at support@tradar.in before telling anyone else. We will not act against good-faith research that stays within your own account.

11What is ours

Tradar - its name, logo, Tara, design, text and code - belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own trading while these terms apply. Open-source parts are used under their own licences.

12When Tradar changes

  • Features change, and ones marked Beta may change a lot or stop. We do not promise that Tradar is always available: it can be down for maintenance, or because a provider or your broker is.
  • We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the latest version. For a change that matters to you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Tradar after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel and delete your account.

13Ending this agreement

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting starts a 30-day countdown in which you can change your mind; at the end, your account and its data are erased for good, as the privacy policy describes. Deleting also cancels your autopay.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to stop fraud or harm to others. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and say why. If we close a paid account when you have done nothing wrong, we refund the unused part of the month.

What these terms say about payment, liability, disputes and your content still applies after the agreement ends.

14Our responsibility to you

We build Tradar with care, but provide it “as is” and “as available”: as far as the law allows, we give no promise that scores, findings, P&L figures or Tara’s answers are accurate or complete, or that Tradar will meet your needs.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any trading loss, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss, whatever its cause - including decisions you made after reading anything in Tradar. Our total liability to you for everything is limited to what you paid us for the current month, or ₹500 if you paid nothing for it.

None of this takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or limits anything the law says cannot be limited, such as fraud.

If someone else makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, or misused a broker account, you cover what it costs us.

15Disputes and the law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

If something goes wrong, write to us first (see contact) - most problems are fixed fastest that way. If it is not resolved within 60 days, the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction, without taking away your right as a consumer to go to a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

16The small print

  • These terms and the policies they name are the whole agreement between you and us about Tradar.
  • If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
  • We may transfer this agreement to whoever takes over Tradar, and will tell you if we do. You may not transfer it.
  • Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by something outside reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, a war, a government order or a failure of the internet, a bank or a broker.
  • We will contact you at the email address on your account. These terms are written in English, and the English version is the one that applies.
